Removal of high build coating from brick terrace
Another great project. The clients had a high build coating on the front of their property that had broken down.
Looks like a new house and comes with a 15 year warranty.
The Problem
High build coatings are applied for a variety of reasons, but if not done correctly they can affect the bricks ability to “breathe” naturally expelling moisture from the wall.
In this case our clients facade coating on the front of their property had broken down and needed removing altogether.

The Solution
We used our Thermatech Paint removal system, which is sympathetic the to underlying substrate, to remove the high build coating back to the brick work.
This enabled us to finish the job by giving a quality long lasting finish. We applied a Keim Mineral thin coat breathable render and finished with Keim mineral paint.
